Our Policies

Important information for families about class attire, registration, tuition, withdrawals, make-ups, media permissions, privacy, and student safety.

These policies help us keep classes safe, organized, and fair for all families. Please review them before registering. If you have questions about how a policy applies to your family, include your question in the class recommendation form.

Dress code

Students should wear fitted clothing that allows safe movement. A fitted leotard is required, and fitted shorts or leggings may be worn over it. Footless or stirrup tights are permitted but not required.

Students should train barefoot or in rhythmic half-toe shoes for better grip and movement. Long hair must be tied back neatly in a bun or ponytail.

Prohibited: baggy clothing, jeans, skirts, jewelry (earrings, bracelets, rings, or necklaces), and socks unless specifically required for a class activity.

Medical release and participation

Rhythmic gymnastics is an active sport involving jumping, stretching, twisting, balancing, and turning. As with any physical activity, there is a risk of injury.

Parents and guardians are responsible for confirming that their child is in good health and ready to participate. It is the parent or guardian's responsibility to consult with their child's physician before enrollment.

By enrolling, families acknowledge the risks of participation and release Boston Rhythmic, Inc., its owners, instructors, employees, agents, and staff from liability for personal injury before, during, or after participation in Boston Rhythmic classes, camps, events, or programs.

Photo and video release

Boston Rhythmic may photograph or video students during classes, camps, events, performances, or programs. By participating, families grant Boston Rhythmic permission to use images or video of their child — individually or in groups — in print and digital materials including the website, brochures, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and other marketing channels.

Boston Rhythmic does not put children's names on marketing materials or social media. Boston Rhythmic does not use headshots of children.

If a family has a specific concern about photo or video use, please contact our team before the student's first class.

Privacy policy

Boston Rhythmic collects information that families provide through forms, email, registration systems, or direct communication. We do not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We use information to respond to requests, manage registration, communicate program details, and share relevant updates. One valid email address is required in each student's records for the duration of enrollment.

You may view, update, correct, or delete your information at any time through our registration system. Once a child has stopped taking classes, you may opt out of future communications by contacting us by email.

Anti-bullying policy

Boston Rhythmic is committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child feels safe, welcome, and respected. We believe rhythmic gymnastics is for everyone.

We take bullying seriously. If you suspect your child has been the victim of bullying, please contact our team so we can address it promptly.

Payment policy

Your first month's tuition and the registration fee are due at registration. Your spot is only guaranteed once these fees are paid in full. In most cases, the registration fee is non-refundable.

Monthly tuition is due in full on the 1st of each month. Each student must have a credit card on file, and cards are charged automatically on the 1st. A $25 late fee is added to overdue accounts on the 6th of each month.

Withdrawal policy

Written notice is required to withdraw from Boston Rhythmic programs. Please submit your withdrawal notice before the start of your last month of classes.

Your last month's tuition is due in full and is not prorated. Notice must be given before the month begins. For example: if you give written notice on January 10, your last month is February — we will charge your full February tuition on February 1, and your child can attend through the end of February.

Tuition cannot be placed on hold for absences, vacations, or other reasons. Once you release your spot, it may be offered to another student. Any make-ups must be scheduled within 2 months. Make-ups are not transferable to other children, and paid fees are not transferable.

Refund policy

Boston Rhythmic does not offer refunds for fees paid, with two exceptions: if we make an administrative error, we will refund you immediately; and if the first class is not the right fit, both the registration fee and the first month's tuition are refunded if requested within 24 hours of the first class.

After the 24-hour window from your first lesson, the standard withdrawal policy takes effect.

Discounts

Sibling discount: siblings receive a 10% discount applied to the lower sibling's tuition.

Multi-class discount: if your child takes more than one class, the lower-tuition class receives a 10% discount.

Make-up policy

We try to be as flexible as possible with make-ups and will work with you to resolve most situations. Make-ups can only be scheduled in classes that have openings, in order to maintain our quality standards.

Make-up classes can be used within 2 months. Camp days cannot be used as make-ups. Missed classes cannot be transferred to other children or other sessions.
